A Diabetes Awareness Campaign was conducted in Clark County in partnership with the Washington State Department of Health for a three month period. |
Result: |
A total of 47 print ads ran in seven different publications and 340 spots ran on eight radio stations with a reach of 38.4%. More than 400 posters and 1,500 tip sheets were distributed to restaurants, non-profit organizations and health care providers in the community. Community increased knowledge regarding type II diabetes prevention. |
